Ideas in writing for now
1. Creating another smaller piece to go alongside the meat locker form with the meat hook. Utilizing fabric to form a hand that collapses into an abstracted arm, using similar materials previously. Then taking half of a cast iron bra and incorporating it within that form.
a. Utilizing the other two cast iron bras with cast fingers hanging from the walls or a completely separate piece that calls to this installation. Half being the bra and the rest falling into a sense of chaos and gore... Need to draw it out to nail it down.
2. Creating castings off of the body with text or imagery inlaid into the skin
a. Utilizing my hand with the "I'm fine" tattoo. Either inlaid into the mold and cast as an impression or somehow utilize fabric and sewing to physically sew the word into the "skin"
b. "Strike Gently" on the lower half of a face (think mouth and chin area)
c. Teeth impressions on the back of the shoulder
d. Markings left behind from a bra
e. Nail impressions on the arm or legs

3. Shattering Iron Castings and Putting them back together (also figural)
Mixing media like cast iron that is cast perfectly (maybe making duplicates) and intentionally shattering the casting. Utilizing fabric, fiber, and sewing to leave the imperfections and cracks visible and almost highlighting them as I work to put them back together.
- The casting needs to be on the thinner side to allow for the shattering to happen.
- Shattering the casting in a controlled environment to allow for all the pieces to be kept and possibly used for the fabrication.
- What happens when cast iron is shattered and put back together? What content can that provide?
- violence, hurt, scars, healing, being put back together, strength, fragility, pieces of a whole
